I don't want to go to work today. I have been sitting at the computer for a while this morning reading blogs and wishing I had the day off. It's one of those Monday holidays (celebrating Veterans Day which was actually yesterday) that everyone but me and my husband get off. DH gets to deal with students and teachers panicking to get things done before Thanksgiving break and I get to deal with cranky or snooty customers. When I stopped by work yesterday to pick up my check I saw a note that the person covering last night had called out so I'm expecting to walk in and find nothing cleaned or stocked. Sigh. I hope I am pleasantly surprised.

Friday I started Pam Kellogg's Christmas mystery. The group is on part 2 but I'm getting a late start. I'm not sure about the backstitching in gold. I'm going to hold off on that until I finish more of the design.

I also started a Christmas ornament that was giving me trouble yesterday. I had hoped to have it done by now but I only managed to get one side finished after frogging it twice. There was a mistake in the pattern that didn't help things. I hope to finish the back side tonight after work. Maybe I'll take some pictures to post too.
