Mystery Sampler

This is the first section of the Papillion Mystery Sampler from the online magazine The Gift of Stitching. It's done on Days Gone By lugana from Silkweaver with Vicki Clayton hand dyed silks. I started it Wednesday just couldn't put it down I was having so much fun. I love stitching with silks they just glide through the fabric so nicely.

We are about to get snow and the neighbors are acting like children. Last time it snowed we went out to shovel around our car which we have to park on the street. They had predicted rain after the snow ended so we didn't want to try and chop through ice. The nasty neighbor chick decided we were leaving and she wanted our nicely cleaned out parking spot instead of shoveling her own. She got mad when after we cleaned the spot we didn't leave. So today she is having all her friends take every spot on the street just to be spiteful. That is really childish and mean to those of us who have noplace else to park. DH wanted to speak to her and her friends but I told him just to let karma take care of it.

Now I am off to work. It's not supposed to start snowing until well after most of us go home but as early as yesterday people were planning to call out because of the snow. It's going to be a tough night if we are short handed.

The mystery sampler is looking beautiful. I've just got to decide on fabric for mine. It will be interesting to see how everyone's pieces turn out.

Oh, your Papillon Sampler is gorgeous! I got my VC silks in for it too, but am waiting on a piece of Silkweaver Sandcastle belfast to come in so I can start it too! I will check in often to see your progress! Next part should be here in less than two weeks LOL
