Visit from the Frog

I haven't blogged much in the past week because I haven't been in the mood. I thought I thought I was doing really well on a project for my partner in the Stitching Bloggers Birthday Club until I found a mistake and had to pick out the entire thing. If I hadn't wanted to save the hand dyed fabric I would have probably just trashed it after stomping on it a little bit. Now I have to start over and between this setback and signing up for the Here's To Ewe exchange for SBEBB I don't have time to join the biscornu exchange at Hooked on Exchanging which I was looking forward to.

The entire week hasn't been bad. Last Thursday was my birthday and DH, mom and my sister gave me some nice gifts. My favorite is this bag from Japan that my DH got for me. It's a lunch bag with an adorable bunny on it. I haven't used it yet because I don't trust my co-workers not to ruin it or steal it.



Both my DH and I had to work so we didn't do anything special to celebrate. My friend Mike celebrated his birthday a week before mine. We usually have a joint celebration and take a trip to the casinos and go out to eat sometime around our birthdays. If the weather cooperates we may do that soon.

Tomorrow I have the day off and I hope to finish my house ornament for the Bride's Tree SAL and restart that birthday project.
