A Small Christmas Finish

This morning I woke with a sinus headache and was not able to breathe through my nose. I always get that way when we have high winds and today was no exception. Once the wind died down I felt fine. I can't bear wearing my glasses to work on linen with a headache so I pulled out a little project on aida that I started at Christmas and finished it today.



This is Diane Graebner's Holly and Ivy from the Cats and Quilts series. I am so happy to finish this. This year I want to stitch a lot of things I spent a lot of time and/or money acquiring but never did anything with and this is one of them. I've had this in my holiday to do pile for 4 years now.

The weather has changed every few hours today. After the wind and a brief period of rain this morning the weather cleared up and it was warm. Around 4pm it was 73 in my house with the window open. Mike and I sat down to watch DVDs for a while and I stitched for about an hour on my Flower Fairy. Now it's 8pm, the wind has started up again and my headache and stuffy head are back. It's supposed to get down to freezing and only reach 44 degrees tomorrow. I guess our good weather is going away.
