I have had a flu type of sickness for the past week and have not felt like updating my blog. There just isn't much to write about when your days consist of using lots of tissue and making lots of trips to the toilet. I still don't feel completely well. Last Monday I finished this Tom Mouse freebie. Tom Mouse is cute and I really should drag out a couple of other free kits I have of him and stitch them up. I had been dragging this one to and from work and the mount got a bit worn so I won't do that in the future. I also wasn't getting much stitching done on him so I watched a marathon of archaeology shows and finished him up.
On Tuesday I decided to go ahead and finish this javelina from Crossed Wing instead of working on my normal rotation project for the day. I figured it was my birthday so I should stitch what I want. I had a nice birthday and mom surprised me with a big fleece "The Cat" pillow to make. I need to go get some fabric today so I can work on it tomorrow. Despite being born on the most depressing day of the year according to some Welsh guy to calculated the amount of sun and depression I had a nice day. It was very calm and ordinary which suited me just fine.
